About

Norman Hargreaves was established in 1952 by husband and wife duo, Norman and Elizabeth Hargreaves.

The couple moved from from Edinburgh to Bewick-upon-tweed with their son John to set up the store and create a family electrical business.

John and proprietor Rhona now run the store and electrical business, with both sons and John, working as engineers for the company.

John’s grandson is the fourth generation to work for the company.

General Open Hours

Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm.

Closed on Sunday.
